From The Graphalo - Fandom and pop culture crochet and knitting patterns perfect for everyone from absolute beginners to experts.
The pattern reads "Always" in the Quenya/ Elvish language developed by J. R. R. Tolkien for the world of Lord of the Rings. The "Always" is a reference to fan favorite Severus Snape's pivotal moment as readers realise it is his love for Harry Potter's mother that has led him to protect the boy.
From the Deathly Hallows -
"But this is touching, Severus," said Dumbledore seriously. "Have you grown to care for the boy, after all?"
"For him?" shouted Snape. "Expecto Patronum!"
From the tip of his wand burst the silver doe: She landed on the office floor, bounded once across the office, and soared out of the window. Dumbledore watched her fly away, and as her silvery glow faded he turned back to Snape, and his eyes were full of tears.
"After all this time?"
"Always," said Snape
This pattern is a tribute to the amazing worlds created by J.R. R. Tolkien and J. K. Rowling

The finished size of the graphghan will vary depending on the hook size and yarn.
