A Gift For My Mum

A very much needed Easter break meant a bit more progress on this beauty. Making this for my mum. Sadly due to illness, she doesn't remember me anymore, I feel a bit lost, but I guess I hope this blanket will bring back some memories and it'll make her smile. 200 rows to go....

When finished this will be a large throw 200 x 280 stitches.
The palette is from Lovecraft's Paintbox Simply Aran and Stylecraft Aran yarns (six colors). These tend to be the yarns I recommend to people for custom photo projects, mainly as they're the ones I use when crocheting projects (they wash really well and really keep the tension over time) but Hobby Lobby's 'I Love This Yarn' and Impeccables 'Loops & Threads' also have palettes that work well and are widely available.
